You can wrap your fingers
round my thumb
and hold me tight.
You can cry all night
and I’ll be always right near you.
As near as you can imagine.
I’ll whisper to you dad
with you near my chest,
sleeping safe and sound,
Telling him that how I treasure you,
my little precious.
Having you is and will always
be the best gift that we share.
Truly, how I wish I’ve met you daddy,
But he is someone someone somewhere
Can’t wait to have you, my little warrior.
